Lande Marine was founded in 2010 by Dutch company Zwaardvis and German company Pörtner Seats. Zwaardvis and Pörtner Seats are both 2nd and 3rd generation family businesses. These firms have been working closely together since the 1970s. Both companies produce helm seats, helm seat bases and table bases for recreational and professional shipping. In addition, Zwaardvis is active as a supplier of table bases for caravans, motor homes and commercial vehicles. Pörtner Seats also supplies seating for casinos.
